A spreadsheet exported by someone else will have columns called " Order ID" and "Customer Name ". Every one of those is a KeyError waiting to happen, because the trailing space is invisible.
Write tidy_columns(df).
Return a new DataFrame with the same data whose column names have been normalised: leading and trailing whitespace stripped, everything lowercased, and any remaining spaces replaced with single underscores.
