ATAS framework improves spatial and temporal consistency in agentic video generation
ATAS compiles screenplays into shot requests with explicit spatial and temporal references, maintaining persistent scene and event memories to improve cross-shot consistency and enable spatial revisits and event replays, outperforming prior methods on multiple benchmarks and human evaluations.

Challenges in maintaining spatial and temporal consistency in agentic video generation
Agentic video generation aims to convert a screenplay into a sequence of video shots that remain coherent across locations, times, and viewpoints, requiring spatial and temporal consistency beyond individual clip quality.
Existing methods rely on recent frames, text summaries, or reference images to maintain continuity, which works for consecutive shots but fails to provide a shared spatial frame or time-indexed record for revisiting earlier scenes or replaying events from new viewpoints.
Maintaining a persistent world state that is addressable in space and time is challenging because generated content can contain errors that propagate if blindly absorbed; thus, a system must resolve requests into concrete shot specifications, retrieve relevant evidence, and incorporate observations only when reliable.
